iPhone – Incorrect Username and Password

If you try login to the Live Help iPhone app and receive an “Invalid Password Error” and your details are correct (i.e. you are able to login to the Windows application) then please try the following to resolve the issue.

  • Login to the Live Help Windows application
  • Click the Accounts Tab
  • Select your account
  • Click the Options button > Change Password menu option
  • Change your password for your account, you can even change your password to the same password if you wish
  • Try login to the iPhone app

The above proceedure will update your account to the latest SHA1 or SHA512 authentication that is required by the iPhone app.  If you still experiencing issues when you try login to the iPhone app then please check you are running at least v3.80 of the Live Help Server Software
